Saints QB Drew Brees Dissects New York Giants Defense

Drew Brees vs GiantsNew Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees Dissects the New York Giants defense week 12 and blows them out of the Superdome. Final score 49-24.

Second straight week in which New York seemed completely out of it. They displayed little passion out on the field and their glaring weaknesses are now being exposed as they face tougher opposition. The Giants now find themselves in a familiar place, right smack in the middle of a second half collapse which has become a recurring theme under coach Tom Coughlin.

What is really frustrating for fans is that everyone knows the Giants season is on the line yet they are not playing like it. Missed tackles, dropped balls, dumb penalties have plagued the GMEN this season but even more surprising is the lack of a rushing attack and even more surprising than that is Continue reading

Michael Boley, Mario Manningham, Ahmad Bradshaw Did Not Practice

week 11 injury report ny giantsAnother week with a lot of injuries for the New York Giants, LB Michale Boley, WR Mario Manningham and RB Ahmad Bradshaw did not practice Friday and may not play week 12 against the New Orleans Saints.

Unfortunately for NY they have one consistent theme going this season and that is their weekly injury report which usually is long and includes important starting players. RB Ahmad Bradshaw was hoping to come back this week to face the Saints but it isn’t looking good as of now.

Will Beatty has already been ruled out for the Monday Night game week 12. Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck Continue reading

NY Giants Defeat Buffalo Bills Despite Porous Defense Week 6

ny giants vs buffalo bills week 6The NY Giants defeat the Buffalo Bills 27-24 week 6 despite their porous defense. New York now stands at 4-2 and a-top the NFC East, Buffalo also has a record of 4-2 and leads the AFC East.

This game started out with a bang and ended as a nail biter in the 4th quarter. A familiar theme with the NY Giants who seem to make every game as difficult as possible to win, providing for fans heartbreaking losses or exciting wins.

I’m sure loyal fans wouldn’t mind a boring blowout win once in a while by New York and hopefully there may be a chance for that in week 8 when they face the Miami Dolphins.

This week 6 game versus the Buffalo Bills was all about big plays on both offense and defense. Buffalo who seems to rely on turnovers was unable to get any vs Big Blue and that may have been the difference.  Continue reading

Justin Tuck, Brandon Jacobs, Chris Snee and Henry Hynoski Out Week 6 vs Bills

Justin Tuck Brandon Jacobs Chris Snee Henry Hynoski Out Week 6The NY Giants officially ruled out Justin Tuck, Brandon Jacobs, Chris Snee and Henry Hynoski for week 6 against the Buffalo Bills.

New York who has had a battered roster this year was hopeful to get some of their starters back even though Tuck would have been a long shot with his groin and neck issues. Prince Amukamara as expected will not play but the GMen are hopeful he will be back soon as he has progressed well through his rehab.

Unfortunately for the Giants more bad news may come in the next two days. Center David Baas is still questionable for Sundays game as is Zak DeOssie the long snapper.

There aren’t many bright spots when it comes to injuries for Big Blue but Continue reading

NY Giants Pull Out a Win vs Arizona Cardinals Week 4

ny giants vs arizona cardinalsThe NY Giants pull out a win over the Arizona Cardinals in week 4, final score 31-27.

They now have a record of 3-1 and sit atop the NFC East with the Washington Redskins after both the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles squander leads and lose their games.

This was a very exciting game full of drama, mistakes, plots, sub-plots, controversy and maybe even what some Arizona fans may consider a little luck. But then again we were playing in Glendale where we seem to have miracle moments. New York fans can also thank Cardinals coach Mike Whisenhunt for a crucial mistake with under 2 minutes left in the game. Continue reading

New Giants wide receiver Brandon Stokley has been ruled out, there is still some Continue reading

Osi Umenyiora NY Giants FootballNew York Football Giants DE Osi Umenyiora hinted there is a chance he will play in week 4 versus the Arizona Cardinals.

Osi had limited practice on Friday and reported he was feeling much better. This is positive news for New York and it’s fans who have been eagerly awaiting the talented defensive end since he had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee this summer.

Umenyiora has had a turbulent off season due to contract negotiations which have turned sour. He still had two years left on his contract but felt he had played well enough to warrant a new extended contract and the Giants did not oblige.

After Friday’s practice session the Giants Defensive End was quoted saying Continue reading
