WR Mario Manningham Out Week 3 vs Eagles
NY Giants WR Mario Manningham has officially been ruled out for week 3′s game versus the Philadelphia Eagles.
Manningham who suffered a concussion in last weeks game against the Rams had hopes to play but unfortunately for the G-men he will have to watch the game from the sidelines. This is a huge blow for New York as they are a decimated team right now due to injuries. The defense has been hardest hit but now at wide receiver they are short due to Mario’s injury and Domenic Hixon being out for the year.

Eli Manning Injury Update – Video
New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning suffered an injury to his right foot during Sundays game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
He is day to day and has been diagnosed with an injury to the plantar fascia, which is the thick tissue around the heel and arch of the foot. Adam Schefter of ESPN Insider reports that the injury is a difficult one to play through but it ultimately will be up to Manning and his pain threshold. If Eli can resist and deal with the pain he will be able to play.
In the past The Giants QB has proven to be very durable and tough just like his older brother Peyton. Hopefully for Big Blue fans this will not be a lingering issue for the rest of the season.
Michael Boley and Bryan Kehl Surgeries
Adding to an already long list of injured New York Giants linebackers Michael Boley and Bryan Kehl both had surgery on Tuesday and are new members of the injury list.
Boley has played well after missing the first week from a league suspension but had been bothered by his right knee. He was diagnosed with a partially torn meniscus and went through arthroscopic surgery yesterday after feeling stiffness and discomfort. He will likely miss 4 weeks. Michael is a big loss for an already decimated Giants team who seem to lose 2 to 3 players per game this season.
Linebacker Bryan Kehl was also injured during Sundays game in Arrowhead. He made an impact versus the Chiefs on the very first play when he recovered a fumble on the opening kickoff.
Kehl had surgery to repair a fracture left index finger and is considered week to week at this point in time.
The list for Big Blue keeps getting larger by the minute, they had 12 players on the injury report this past week and that did not include Kenny Phillips who has been lost for the year. You can now add Boley, Kehl and Manning this week.
