New York Giants Inexplicably Failed to Show Up Against Redskins

giants vs redskins week 15No other way to put it but inexplicable, the New York Giants failed to show up against the Washington Redskins week 15. The final score 23-10.

If you didn’t know the records or positioning of each team you would have thought the Redskins were fighting to get into the playoffs. In fact it is the Giants who are fortunate enough to even be in a position where they control their own destiny. Unfortunately they still found a way to play uninspired in this crucial game.

Week 15 was another embarrassing performance reminiscent of week 12 when they played the New Orleans Saints. Pathetic would also accurately describe the performance by Big Blue. The only New York Giants player who can hold his head up high is Jason Pierre-Paul.  Continue reading

NY Giants Leap Over Dallas Cowboys in Crazy NFC East Game

NY Giants Leap Beat Cowboys Week 14Literally, the New York Giants leap over the Dallas Cowboys week 14 and win 37-34 in an NFC East showdown. The win places the GMEN in first place.

This was a crazy game, there is just no other way to describe it. A seesaw battle full of lead changes and dramatic moments which ultimately defined the game.

Early in the game Giants RB Brandon Jacobs leaps over Cowboys Safety Gerald Sensabaugh in a spectacular run. Late in the game New York’s Jason Pierre-Paul leaps and blocks a Dan Bailey FG attempt which preserves the 3 point lead and gives Big Blue a needed victory over their arch rivals. A positive and exciting win for sure but Continue reading

Evidence the Refs Helped Packers Beat the NY Giants

Jake Ballard TDClear evidence of one sided calls by the refs who helped the Green Bay Packers beat the New York Giants week 13.

The officials were horrible during this game. There were several calls which went against the NY Giants or in favor of the Packers which were bad calls and changed the course of the game. What’s more distrubing is the fact that some of these calls were reviewed and not over turned.

It almost felt like a Juan Manuel Marquez vs Manny Pacquioa fight where no matter how good Marquez fights the cards are against him. In this case it wasn’t judges but NFL referees stacking the cards against the Giants, it was blatant and shameful! Almost seems as if the NFL is going to make sure they have a story book ending with an undefeated Packers team this season no matter what. Here is video and photographic evidence of the blatant bad calls. Continue reading

NY Giants Lose Vs 49ers in Gutsy Week 10 Performance

ny giants 49ers week 10The NY Giants fall short in a come back bit and lose versus the San Francisco 49ers in week 10, final score 27-20 in yet another nail-biter.

What else can Giants fans expect but a down to the wire affair when New York plays any team. Week 10 was no different except that unlike the previous 3 games the GMEN lost. It was a valiant and gutsy performance by Eli manning and the Giants but some questionable play calls and mistakes really put the team behind the eight ball.

What is more frustrating to most fans is to lose such a winnable game. There is no doubt that New York is one of the better teams in the NFC but their mistakes have cost them a couple of wins this season and with Dallas now just 1 game behind every win is important. The Cowboys have a very easy schedule unlike Continue reading

WR Hakeem Nicks Travels with Team to San Francisco Week 10

New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks travels with team to San Francisco for the week 10 match-up against the 49ers. This is definitely positive news, Nicks is currently listed on the Injury Report as questionable with a hamstring issue. There may be a chance that the talented wide receiver may suit up for Sunday’s game. Photo provided by Giants PR man Pat Hanlon via Twitter.

Hakeem Nicks Week 10 Injury

Ahmad Bradshaw, Hakeem Nicks and David Baas Ruled Out Week 9

week 9 injury report ny giantsIt’s official Ahmad Bradshaw (broken foot), Hakeem Nicks and Center David Baas have been ruled out week 9 and will not play against the New England Patriots at Foxborough.

New York just can’t seem to catch a break, or at least a good break (no pun intended) with serious injuries every week. Losing their star starting Wide Receiver in Nicks and their talented and best Running Back in Bradshaw will severely affect their chances beat Tom Brady and the Patriots.

David Baas will also be missed but the GMEN have played without him a few times this season and have been able to deal with his absence.
