Eli Manning Saves NY Giants From Catastrophe Against Dolphins
Eli Manning saves the NY Giants from a catastrophic loss against the Miami Dolphins in week 8. As inconceivable as it may sound New York may have saved their season and playoff hopes this week with a 20-17 come from behind win over the winless Dolphins.
Miami was a 10 point underdog coming into the game but played an inspired first half unlike the Giants who once again seemed out of rhythm and lackadaisical to start the game. It seems the GMEN can only focus in and play their best football in the 4th quarter.

New York Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul Fined by NFL
New York Giants standout DE Jason Pierre-Paul was fined by the NFL this week $10,000 for his head slap on Buffalo Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick during this past Sunday’s game.
The infraction of Roughing the passer occurred during the second quarter of the week 6 game and immediately drew a flag from the refs. A few days ago I wrote a piece “NY Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul Has Arrived“, I guess the National Football League wanted to properly welcome him with a hit to his wallet.
JPP can certainly afford the $10,000 fine with his 5 year $20 million deal but nevertheless it’s a nice chunk of cash.

NY Giants Defeat Buffalo Bills Despite Porous Defense Week 6
The NY Giants defeat the Buffalo Bills 27-24 week 6 despite their porous defense. New York now stands at 4-2 and a-top the NFC East, Buffalo also has a record of 4-2 and leads the AFC East.
This game started out with a bang and ended as a nail biter in the 4th quarter. A familiar theme with the NY Giants who seem to make every game as difficult as possible to win, providing for fans heartbreaking losses or exciting wins.
I’m sure loyal fans wouldn’t mind a boring blowout win once in a while by New York and hopefully there may be a chance for that in week 8 when they face the Miami Dolphins.
This week 6 game versus the Buffalo Bills was all about big plays on both offense and defense. Buffalo who seems to rely on turnovers was unable to get any vs Big Blue and that may have been the difference. Continue reading
