More bad injury news NY Giants Safety Kenny Phillips likely to miss the game vs the Dallas Cowboys week 14.
Phillips suffered and injury during the week 13 game against the Green Bay Packers. He was able to get up and limp off the field but his facial expression would lead you to believe it wasn’t going to be good news for New York. The Giants released his injury status and sure enough number 21 suffered a sprained MCL which means in all likelihood he will miss this weeks important NFC East showdown against the Cowboys.
New York will be relying on yet another rookie in Tyler Sash to pick up the slack. Depending on how Phillips progresses with the injury he is expected to be out for at least a week. Unfortunately the New York Giants cannot catch a break in 2011, they have suffered injuries all season long which have prevented Big Blue from fielding an adequate defensive squad.

New York Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw takes the field and participates in Friday’s practice as reported by Mike Garafalo.
Encouraging news for a New York team that has been injury riddled all season long. By no means does this guarantee that Ahmad Bradshaw will play but he has not practiced since he suffered the fracture to his foot against the Miami Dolphins week 8 of the 2011 NFL season.
The Giants currently rank dead last (32nd) in the NFL in rushing. They have only accumulated a total of 905 yards for the season. They average a dismal 3.2 yards per carry and have gotten very little production from backup RB Brandon Jacobs who seems to run more with his mouth than he does with his feet.

The New York Giants will be without running back Ahmad Bradshaw who is still recovering from his broken foot. Will Beatty is also out for the GMEN as is Derrick Martin. New York Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw is doubtful week 11 vs the Philadelphia Eagles with his ongoing foot injury.
A team source reported to the New Jersey Star Ledger that his chances of playing do not look good despite some positive signs of improvement on his fractured foot. This is a big blow to New York, the team has been lacking a consistent rushing attack all season while their offensive line gets in sync and healthy.
Brandon Jacobs will most likely start week 11 but you can expect running back DJ Ware to see significant playing time if Bradshaw indeed cannot go.
