Hakeem Nicks Ruled Out Against the Carolina Panthers Week 3. Ahmad Bradshaw, Domenik Hixon and More.

Hakeem Nicks Ruled OutNew York Giants stud WR Hakeem Nicks has been ruled out for Thursday nights game versus the Carolina Panthers.

He was just named the NFC offensive player of the week after his 10 catch, 199 yards receiving and 1 TD performance against the Tampa Bay Bucs. This is especially painful for the GMEN when you take into account that injury prone WR Domenik Hixon has also been ruled out.

The team has been decimated with injuries similar to last season. Joining Hakeem Nicks and Hixon will be a few other key players such as Ahmad Bradshaw, David Diehl and Adewale Ojomo. It seems the last 2 seasons have been filled with injuries which have affected the chemistry on the team during the regular season. Luckily last season Big Blue got healthy right before their playoff run.

Hakeem Nicks had surgery on his foot during the off season but this past week on 2 different occasions he was visibly hurt once to the foot and another time on his ankle. It remains to be seen if these injuries will nag him the rest of the season, having a short week definitely did not help the Giants and their injured players.
